Gallardo brothers tackle USRA Fall Nationals at Vado Speedway Park; Jake wraps up track championship

All three Gallardo cars were in action at the Fall Nationals at Vado over the weekend.

Friday night, Fito ran sixth in his heat, third in the b-main and then rallied from 21st up to finish 11th in the feature. Peyton ran eighth in his heat and then raced from 10th up to 7th in the b-main and Jake won his heat and then charged from 6th to finish 3rd in the feature, locking himself into Sunday's finale.

Saturday, Jake didn't race, while Fito won his heat then raced to a fifth-place finish in the feature, locking himself into Sunday's feature. Peyton fell out of his heat, then moved forward from 10th up to 3rd in the b-main and from 21st up to 18th in the night's feature.

Sunday, Peyton raced from 5th to 4th in the c-main, then from 14th to 8th in the b-main and then worked forward from 18th to 15th in the 50-lap feature. Fito started 10th and ran inside the top ten all feature long, coming home 8th, while Jake started 5th and raced inside the top five all feature long, crossing the finish line in third.
