Fito Gallardo wins at Vado Speedway Park

Fito and Peyton were both in USRA Modified action this past Saturday night at the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, NM. Fito, the defending track champion, started the season where he ended the 2022 year by racing from the pole to an uncontested feature victory for his efforts. He raced from 5th up to 2nd in his heat race and after earning the pole for the night's feature, he drove off on the opening lap and never looked back on his way to the win. (Zach Rodriguez photo)

Peyton, starting his rookie season in a USRA Modified, raced from 7th up to 6th in his heat race before starting 15th in the night's feature and racing forward to cross the finish line with a solid top ten, finishing 10th.
