Fito charges to eighth-place finish at West Texas Raceway

Fito and Peyton made the trip on Friday to the West Texas Raceway in Lubbock, TX to compete in their USRA Modifieds. Peyton raced from 3rd to 2nd in his heat race, while Fito was credited with 8th in his heat. In the night's main, Fito stormed from his 22nd starting spot to crack the top ten and cross the finish line in 8th, while Peyton had some issues in the main and wasn't able to finish when the checkered flag flew.
