Fito outruns Jake at Vado Speedway Park

For the first time, all three Gallardo cars were in action on Saturday night at the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, NM. (James Adams Jr. photo)

Fito and Jake were both competing in the USRA Modified division and Peyton was in the USRA B-Mod class. Peyton ran ninth in his heat race and then was able to race from 7th up to 5th in the b-main, earning the 23rd starting spot in the feature, unfortunately he ended up with a mechanical issue on the parade lap, causing him not to be able to start the feature.

Jake raced from 4th up to 3rd in his heat race and then after starting fifth in the night's feature, he raced his way to second, then took over the lead, but ended up crossing the finish line in second at the checkered flag.

Fito raced from 7th up to 2nd in his heat race and then started 6th in the feature. He quickly drove up to the second spot in the feature and was able to slip by Jake into the lead as the duo battled in heavy lapped traffic and race off to the victory.
