Jake Gallardo sweeps at Vado Speedway Park

Jake and Fito were both in USRA Modified competition on Saturday night at the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, NM and both recorded top five finishers for their efforts. (James Adams Jr. photo)

Jake raced from 4th to win his heat race and then repeated that effort by racing from 4th to win the feature to complete the clean sweep on the night in his #J17. Fito was involved in a lap one crash in his heat, forcing him to the pits and relegating him to the 22nd starting spot for the night's main event. He then charged his way through the field to record an impressive fourth place finish when the checkered flag waved.
