Fito scores fifth-place finish with USMTS at Red Dirt

Fito and Jake hit the road this past weekend to compete with the United States Modified Touring Series at the Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, OK on Friday night and at the Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK on Saturday night.

Friday, Jake won his heat race from the outside of the front row and started 4th in the feature, but unfortunately wasn't able to finish, falling out of the race before the checkered, but Fito, after running second in his heat race, started on the front row of the feature and ran inside the top five all event long, crossing the finish line with a fifth place finish.

Saturday, Fito won his heat from the pole and raced to a 12th place finish in the feature, after starting 8th. Jake ran sixth in his heat and eighth in the night's b-main, capping off his weekend.
