Fito Gallardo cruises in Modified at Vado Speedway Park

All three Gallardos were in action on Saturday night at the Vado Speedway Park for the track's annual MVT Night at the Races. Peyton competed in both the USRA Modified and B-Mod divisions and was able to come home with an 11th place finish in the B-Mod feature after starting 18th. He unfortunately fell out of the Modified feature before it ended, suffering a DNF. (Pug's Graphics photo)

Jake raced from 6th up to win his heat race and then was battling inside the top five in the feature event early, but was caught up in a crash on a restart, ending his night.

Fito ran second in his Modified heat race and then charged from 7th up to win the main event in dominating fashion for his efforts. He also ran in the Super Truck class and after not starting his heat race, he started the main from the 17th starting spot and worked his way toward the top ten, but fell out of the race before the checkered flag flew.
