Fito and Jake visit victory lane at Vado Speedway Park

Both Fito and Jake were back in at the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, NM on Saturday night for the annual Kid's Bike Night. Both drivers were able to race to feature wins for their efforts on the night, with Jake winning the Stock Car feature and Fito winning in the Modified. (Austin Hood photo)

In the Stock Car, Jake raced from the outside of the front row in his heat race to pick up the win and then after starting 4th in the feature, he battled for much of the event for the lead, until he was able to take it over and drive to the win.

In the Mod, Jake ran fifth in his heat and then charged forward from his 13th starting spot to finish a close third, but Fito was not to be denied as he won his heat from 4th and then raced from 8th up to win the Modified feature after a great battle out front all night long.
